We've Moved Into a New Space
For the past ten years, we have been making our highly-sought-after leather goods in a space that, as we continued to grow in popularity, became just too small for us to meet the demands of our growing business.
Those of you who are familiar with the Steurer and Jacoby story know that we have been in business for much more than ten years, having served everyone from U.S. presidents to British royalty to high-profile CEOs with our iconic golf bags.
Though we are still best-known for our golf bags, our business has significantly expanded its offerings since our early days to include everything from luxury travel bags to leather-wrapped bourbon glasses, among other accessories and gifts.
We are so grateful for all of the business we are getting, and we are happy to announce that your support has made it necessary for us to move into a larger space to accommodate our growth, and allow us to be as efficient as possible in meeting customer demand.
Our grand opening was early in August, and we hope to spread the word of this exciting new development in the Steurer & Jacoby, and Firebird, Inc., story.
As a result of our expansion, we have pretty much doubled in size. We enjoy a spacious production floor with a designated area for each step in the crafting process of our golf bags and other luxury leather items.
We have always hand-cut all of our fabric and store fabric rolls, and so it was a must to get an upgraded cutting station where we could get that work done with greater efficiency.
Our seamstresses now enjoy a larger sewing space to do their careful and expert work in crafting our products.
One of the features that our customers love is our ability to customize, which has taken the form of embossing presidential seals for U.S. Presidents, family coat of arms, and many custom logos. Our customization process has now gotten even more sophisticated, with much more space for our laser engraver, which personalizes our products.
Along with that, we also have a warehouse behind our large production floor. Our warehouse is where we store our leather to make all of the vintage golf bags.
We still maintain our usual process for cutting and personalizing our leather, with our state-of-the-art die cutter and hot stamp machine. Our vintage leather bags are also strengthened and secured with our rivet machine.
There is something for our customers, too, with a showroom where you can come and see the great products that we make with expertise and care. Customers can also come and create their own custom golf bags and accessories.
