This year we had the honor of returning to the Kohler Hickory Challenge in Sheboygan, WI. It is truly one of our most favorite events to attend.

Have you ever experienced the thrill of playing on some of the most prestigious golf courses in the world? Well, at the Kohler Hickory Challenge, golf enthusiasts had the opportunity to do just that. The event took place at the renowned Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, and the Irish courses, providing a truly unforgettable experience for all participants. We appreciate the camaraderie of the Wisconsin Hickory Group. Truly an excellent group of people to share a golf experience with! 

What makes Whistling Straits so special?

Thursday we played at Whistling Straits. We had a bit of chilly wind, but we think it just adds to the experience! The Straits is known for its stunning views of Lake Michigan and challenging terrain. With its rugged landscape and intricate design, this course truly tests the skills of even the most seasoned golfers. The breathtaking scenery combined with the strategic layout of the course makes for an unforgettable round of golf. 

Exploring Blackwolf Run

The first round of the tournament was played at Blackwolf Run's Meadow Valleys Course. Blackwolf Run offers a different but equally captivating golfing experience. The course is set along the picturesque Sheboygan River and features lush fairways and challenging greens. Golfers at the Kohler Hickory Challenge had the opportunity to test their skills on this iconic course, surrounded by the beauty of nature. It is a first class track!

Admiring the Irish course

The Irish course at Kohler is known for its unique design and stunning views, you almost feel like you are in Ireland. Golfers were treated to round two on this picturesque course, where every hole presents a new challenge. The rolling hills and scenic vistas make the Irish course a favorite among players at the tournament.

Spotting our bison pencil bags

One of the highlights of the tournament was seeing our bison pencil bags out on the Baths at Blackwolf Run. These high-quality, stylish bags were the perfect accessory for golfers to carry their short set as they made their way around the par three course. It was a pleasure to see our products being used and appreciated by participants at such a prestigious destination.
